I've recently been browsing about on the McAusland Studios website  http://mcauslandstudios.com/main.htm - really just soaking up the art - fantasy, sci-fi and assorted stuff.

Mr. McAusland is currently developing a post-apocalyptic RPG.

I know that some of the members here are suckers for a good post-apoc. setting.  This one is very much, the very far future, allowing the imagination to go very wild with regards to society and creatures (as opposed to near future settings - where the hard rain causes a mild depression, whilst scrubbing the gas masks in the bomb shelter...).
Now, I have to let it be known that I own what has to be the worst edition of Gamma World, so I'm always a bit hesitant with "mutie" settings.  But we live in a brave new age ... Judging by the art for the game, there's just enough proper guns and strange tech to give old Necromunda a run for it's money.*  It seems to be very much a pen n paper RPG and the black and white art calls to the old-school part of me (do I have any other parts).

* guns ... mmm ...

All I know so far is what I've read from bits of downloads and browsed of the art.
There's a hint of old D&D in here.  Players can assemble a party of "Excavators" who go on quests to salvage technology from inhospitable terrain (that's just one of many hooks).

Some of the monsters look like they are from a bestiary of b-movies, but better (excuse the alliteration *grin*).

Ah, modern women...

I have no idea as yet, whether or not the game adapts well to minis.  The game mechanics sound reassuring - the Outland Hub systems boasts a percentile based system with the use of all poly dice for damage (which reminds me a bit of Chaosm/Cthullhu/Runquest.) ... I'll try to find out more on this.

The blog is good for up to date news and new art
