yea I was wondering what that was all about too, being all-card I guess the whole game could be sold as PDFs and printed

I think the creators of this game know exactly what they are doing - they're reselling HQ!(?)  Also I think when we were looking up dice the other day, some of the stickered dice meant for this set appeared in the search.
Perhaps there's a sample copy of the rules somewhere to be found.
I've always loved HeroQuest and judging by experiences of talking to other about it online (both before and after I setup the forum 2 years back) there are still many people out there who like it as much as I do, so the market is there for it.

I've seen some sticker'd HeroQuest like dice, but didn't know they were for this game, the website says something about providing your own coloured D6's but I was under the impression the game ran with regular D6's.  I think one of us needs to look into this further ... by which I mean buy it just for the sake of having it
