Many years, before WoC's Dungeon Tiles, and sometime after the fabled Dungeon Geomorphs there were colour printed card sets made in the 1980's - one series was Games Workshop's Dungeon Floor Plans. These sets also spawned boxed scenarios and map art in White Dwarf was sometimes constructed from these sets.

INSERT ... Nostalgic montage by Mortis ... ;)

(No-one appears to be currently holding copyright on these designs and they are posted here purely for reference and personal use etc. )

Perhaps with some modifications they could be employed in virtual table-top programs or dungeon editors. Anyone familiar with my own dungeon plans will see that I was heavily influence by sets like these - and boardgames like Warlock of Firetop Mountain, along with the excellent but bland tiles in Warhammer Quest. I've own a copy of the very first simple Dungeon Floor Plans set and used to play D&D with it as a teenager, but recently I acquired a sort of a "job lot" of sheets from different sets on Ebay.

I've made some scans 100 DPI pngs - they should print at roughly the right size when opened in a new browser window. Note that these early sets use a 2cm grid.
