Oh man, my sympathies.
I hate this sort of thing when it happens, because very few people ever seem to understand, let alone shop staff (who rarely have a clue about stock). You end up feeling like a crazed druggie being given the news that his dealer has "gone clean". "I just need one can" you plead as security start to stride over...
Stock up! Buy at least ten cans!
