for that was on my mind.

for the last 2 years or so since i have been an intense hobby type geek, i have used Plastikote Super Matt Butterscotch to spray my vehicles. it looks a bit iffy on its own but with more than one vehicle next to each other it looks shit hot.

i used to buy it from Wilkos.

but wilkos dont stock it anymore....and even worse, they have no empty slot where IT COULD be... its just gone.

yes, ohfuckohfuckohfuckohfuckohfuckohfuckohfuckohfuckohfuckohfuckohfuckohfuckohfuckohfuckohfuck indeed.

it seems they still make it but it might not have been updated on the website. its available online but who knows if thats just a "ghost" of a sale, waiting to be replaced with "no longer in stock"

so next step was search the plastikote website for uk stockists.... Focus and B&Q.

so, seconds after first publishing this post i blasted over to focus in the Jaguar... and found nothing.

every plastikote color but fucking butterscotch.

last chance saloon, B&Q, 3 miles down the A610.

searching the ailes like a man needing a shit REALLY really desparately i found the plastikote sprays....

and B&Q had about 100 cans of butterscotch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

what concerns me is tho, all of B&Q's cans were of a very old design. so, not many people at all want this colour. if im planning lots of new vehicles it looks like id better stock up!

i hope you enjoyed this little ramble into my sunday but i assure you... if your favourite paint has been discontinued it sucks ass
