While I like the pixel-work tiles (they remind me of old games on the PC and Atari ST like Gauntlet and Fatal Labyrinth ) I'm in favour of keeping the dungeon generator in black and white, it looks very similar to the maps in our BECM books and with a few symbols added from a dungeon-mapping symbol font it will be even closer. I envision people using screen shots from this (plus some text) to write adventures and as such I think a classic D&D style black and white map is more appropriate.
IMHO a dungeon map should look like it's come out of an old D&D book and not like a screen-shot from an old (albeit awesome) computer game and if Sam does go ahead with the colour graphics I'd like the option to turn them off or have a Colour/Classic mode switch
