When I've painted my HQ miniatures, to make them different from the orcs, I've opted for a lighter colour scheme, (I don't remember the colours, maybe dark green ink wash, goblin green+bilious green and goblin green+skull white... I'm not sure

)
I think that you used a better solution to characterize them. I think that this really is an effective colours combination! The paintjob is superb as always!

thanks dude!
I think I might try doing a Fimir in a paler green to see how it comes out. I don't think GW ever really settled on a particular colour for Fimir flesh an old advert for the metal models in WD had them painted in all kinds of colours from a green-ish browns to almost yellow-green, I've even seen a painting of a Fimir in a HeroQuest book with ruddish human looking skin.
The description in WFRP1 says
“their hides are smooth and leathery, and colour varies from buff to a light olive green” that's quite a wide range of colour in there ...

Hahahahaah!
Mists stir in the marshlands to the south, there are rumours of a darkening shadow and a grotesque hooded stranger has been seen wandering the land claiming to be the emissary of a dark power that sleeps ... Little do you know of the growing threat to the Empire! ... oh ... have I said too much?
