When I've painted my HQ miniatures, to make them different from the orcs, I've opted for a lighter colour scheme, (I don't remember the colours, maybe dark green ink wash, goblin green+bilious green and goblin green+skull white... I'm not sure
)
I think that you used a better solution to characterize them. I think that this really is an effective colours combination! The paintjob is superb as always!
