necrons maybe not but eldar yes totally. but i can see why they do that- to simplyfy and to level the playing field a little. i do i think it is silly too that a leman russ demolisher has to fire all its weapons at the same target. saying "all weapons fire at xxxxx" is as straightforward as "all gunners watch and shoot" which means if a target comes into range you stitch the fucker. the side sponsons on LR and maybe (just maybe) the Land Raider (thanks to the deus ex machina) should be able to engage separate targets like a super heavy. and side sponsons should also be able to shoot if the main gun goes off as these have extra individuals sat in the cupola. the main gun would still fire just as well if they are not there so it doesent need them to fire.

and theeldar really should be able to flit about, kick ass then move on. maybe they should all without exception have the "hit and run" rule in assaults

all and i mean ALL necrons should be "slow and purposeful"?
