as promised ...


Causes Paralysis: if a Shadow makes a successful attack (causes at least 1 body point of damage) the victim must roll 1D6 on a roll of 1-3 the victim is paralysed and cannot do anything at all for 1 turn
Can only be harmed by Magic: Shadows are Immune to mundane weapons and can only be harmed by damage caused by Spells or from Magical Weapons such as The Spirit Blade or Orc's Bane

You might be interested to learn that at the moment I am working on a system that will convert Basic D&D (and possibly AD&D) Monster stats to HeroQuest Stats - I've recently made a break though in my research and it seem that the original HeroQuest monsters stats might have been based on D&D monster stats

Looks good - Your idea is quite a bit like TSR's DragonStrike from the sounds of it (which you can easily converted HeroQuest stats to and vice versa)

I strongly recommend having a read of the DragonStrike rules as I think it's exactly what you are looking for and should save you a lot of work
