hi,

submitted for your viewing is my first attempt at painting a miniture. he's a wood elf by citadel. i'm quite pleased with him as i thought i'd be kinda rubbish at this but under the patient tutelage of my housemate he turned out ok.

Plastic or metal?

I don't quite recognize the mini.

Is it one of those 3rd Ed. really early plastic ones?

Looks 100 times better then my first mini.... I painted it up in gloss..... poor space marine, he looked like he was in a shiney bubble suit....

he's a plastic 4th/5th edition warhammer woodelf mini, didn't wanna ruin something metal on my 1st go.

painted several things since, so there'll be more pic's posted soon! promise!

Brilliant first attempt.As my Karate instructor said "The more you do something the better you get"................its 'impossible' to get worse!Looks better than my miniature......enjoying it is the key thing.

Thanks Umboman, I do enjoy the painting and have posted several more mini's now. Will keep trying til their as good as the pictures I see in my head!!
