Hello to all from a long time fan of HQ and AHQ. We played as a family years ago, when HQ first came out, about 1989? Then I got the add-ons, and AHQ. drifted away for a few years, but play the game now with my Grand-son! He loves it, already constructing Quests for us the play, when he comes over.

Hi and welcome! I'm new here too, and I've already found lots of interesting stuff here. Great help on how to paint my mini's, and some help regarding the HQ rules (I never played it before, just got a HQ game last week).
It's pretty awesome to see a grandfather posting about playing with his grandson :D
This game really IS for ages 9-99 haha! j/k :P
I hope you enjoy the forum as well! I'm looking forward to seeing some home-made-quests for HQ posted ;)

Hey Guzzi.
It's amazing how we all rediscover games. HQ seems to work on many levels for every generation.  
I own AHQ and WHQ and adore the simplicity of these games when compared to larger RPG rulesets.  Like a few folk here, I'm really into the "pick-up-and-play" approach.
