so iv just read white wolf by david gemmel. apparently its a Druss the Legend chronicle.
even if you LOVE DG and druss and heroic fantasy- avoid.
i think dave (god rest him) just got his heroic fantasy drenai plot wheel out-
magic swords- check
troubled hero with dead wife- check
magic castle- check
random shoe-horned in references to other books that in reality make no sense- check
i love Legend, king beyond the gate and quest for lost heroes, counldnt even finish winter warriors, enjoyed the druss the legend chronicles.
