Really nicely done, kinda makes me want to do some nightlords....agh!

I like the use of defiler autocannons too, defenatly helps keep it 'fluffy'. Generally like to make my chaos vehicles a little spikier than this but it looks cool all the same.

I like the painting bit, it’s the undercoating bit that gets on my nerves. Besides pre-painted minis tend to be rubbish as very few Chinese sweat-shop children have the skills of a veteran Golden Daemon contestant.

yeah pre-painted minis can look pretty dire, heroclix and the like arn't exactly pretty!

That said I rarely get much painting done compared to converting, just enjoy sticking bits together more than painting I guess.

Same here, my back-log of unpainted minis get bigger each week, but much rather that than buying endless booster sets in the hope of getting a limited edition Drow that no one has put any effort into…
