Warduke

Way back in the 1980's, TSR tried to establish themselves, selling action toys and running a few cartoon shows based (very loosely) on D&D.
One character that appeared in the show and as an action figure was the evil warrior/bounty hunter Warduke.
Despite only having a few lines in a single episode, the character was an instant fan favourite, a bit like Boba Fett, as it were.

Here's my take on a home-made version of that guy, using parts from 3 different chaos warriors, 1 chaos marauder and the "wings" from a Night Lords-helmet by Forgeworld.

Re: Warduke

Nicely Done!

I've been wanted a War Duke myself for a while, looks like this might be the way to go about it

~The ravings of a single mad Goblin is bad enough, but such a power-hungry, malice-filled creature as Mortis can never hope to be understood~

Re: Warduke

The helmet wings are a bit oversized but all in all I'm quite happy with it.

The orginal action figre had chain mail but plate felt more in tune with the times, so to speak.
Also, in most illustrations the shield is on the armoured side but that kind of defeats the purpose, I'd say, so I put it on the unarmoured side to provide proper protection.
Well, as much protection as that array allows at all, that is.
