One of the nicest minis in the Warmachine Range and good paint job too!

You should give the game a try some time, it's currently the 2nd most popular Table-top Wargame in the US (after 40k) and has risen in popularity recently after GW's recent combo of  FineCast, Price Rise, Trade Embargo pissed off a lot of people last month. What's more the game plays fast, it's at skirmish level and has an nice grim and gritty background to it.

My buddy has a collection and he has spoken many words of praise for the game.
The setting is awesome too.

He also has a wife, kid and a job so he doesn't get much time to play.

But one day I shall have him teach me.

It's a game I've been meaning to get into myself, 1 of the guys I play D&D with has an ever-growing Cygnar force and one of my Quest players purchased a bunch of Khador Warjacks a little while back, what's more my Girlfriend owns the core rulebook and I myself have the makings of a decent sized Cryx force sitting around waiting to be put together and painted (not to mention the Steamjacks I have from the Grind boardgame)
others around me seem to be adding Privateer Press models to their collections too

I did play a very small game of War Machine recently.

I must say it seems quite fun.
I need to read up on the fluff first before I'll make a decision but the game mechanics themselves were easy to learn.
