If you live in the UK The Wargaming Portal is something you should really be excited about.
Founded only a few months ago, The Wargaming Portal is a venture of my friend (and tLatD Forum member) Keith Baggott. There a lots of webstores out there, but  The Wargaming Portal is one you should really all be keeping a eye on, you see Keith initially set up The Wargaming Portal with the aim of importing otherwise hard-to-get-hold-of miniatures into the UK. It's early days yet, but the portal already an impressive stock of miniatures you don't normally see inside the UK (as well as a few you do).
Portal is an appropriate name for a webstore which is opening up a whole new realm of miniatures for gamers in the UK.

Here's a few of my favourite products you can get 'through the portal' so to speak, yes you may have seen some of these miniatures before, but this is probably the first time you've seen them with UK currency prices and with in easy reach.

INAPS Alien Hunters

I know a few of you here on the forum like Predator types and while the Inaps may not be the most detailed Predator-like miniatures on the market what makes them great each miniature has a clear resin counterpart to represent it in 'stealth mode'. Standard Opaque Inaps are £2.50 each while the transparent ones are £4.00 each, fair value if you ask me!

DC-0010 Lava Worms x2

These 'Lava Worms' would make great monsters for both a Sci-fi or Fantasy game. £4.99 for 2

DC-0009 Mind Lord

What make this Mindflayer more interesting than a lot of the other Mindflayer miniatures available is that is posed with it's tentacles 'open' and a ring of razor sharp teeth exposed ready to feed on the brain of a victim. At roughly 35mm tall this is quite an imposing miniature and will stand a good head taller than most miniatures. As well as it's obvious uses as a Mindflayer, Illithid, Ulitharid, Brain Slayer, Alhoon, ect this miniature could also find use as a Call of Cthulhu monster or a Mutant or Alien in a post apocalypse or Sci-fi setting. This Mind Lord would look great as part of a diorama standing over a victim about to wrap it's tentacles and jaws around the head and devour the succulent brain within! ... and it would of course make a nice gaming piece too

FD-0002 Phantom of the Depths

An eerie nautical ghost type which would make a great addition to anyone's Pirate collection, either as vengeful ghost of a man drowned at sea or simply as corpse in an under water diorama - it would also make an awesome/gruesome ornament for your fish tank!

FD-0008 Sea serpent

Last nautical one now I promise! - An Awesome looking sea serpent wrapped around what appears to be the mast/crows-nest of a wrecked ship. Would work well in a Warhammer Dark Elf army, a Cryx or Mercenary pirate type force for Warmachine/Iron Kingdoms or a good monster for a D&D game with a nautical setting.

Base Camp Control Station x2

Base Camp Medical Couch

Base Camp Power Junction x2

These are just some of the great Sci-fi terrain pieces The Wargaming Portal has is importing from Ainsty Castings and there are more to come!

Anyway keep an eye on http://wargamingportal.co.uk/ and why not pick out a few of your favourites and share them with the rest of us
