Seriously though ... I'm more looking forward to the Orx than I am the humans, there are loads of alternative sci-fi humans out there already (Wargames Factory and so on) but most Imperial guard players never seem to listen

That said the art looks good and knowing Mantic the figures will live up to it

Having listened to the background they're making the humans actually the bad-guys. Sounds like there's a lot of good ideas coming, just waiting for some actual miniatures to arrive.

Aren't the humans in 40K basically bad guys?  It is just that in 40K, they are one in a world full of bad guys, so we think of them as the good guys since they are humans.    However, they are a fascist society fighting to commit genocide on all the xenos races.

I'd say that although humans aren't really 'the good guys' in 40k they are still portrayed as heroic
