Talisman (2nd edition) summed up

Swiftblade
"The mystic ignores you"

P.S. 7 hours of play (6 players), still no winner....

Impressive. Getting on for Monopoly times there.

Surely the game has to pause at some point for people to go to work though? I haven't played Talisman in ages. Gonna have to prod Mort into organising a game methinks....

Yeah, was over 2 nights. we've started a Tuesday night games night where I can get victims... um, other players to relive my childhood with all the games Workshop games I've recently required.

That said (due to false advertising) I've also recently bought the "Willow" board game (which seemingly isn't GW - should've checked...), but it does look to be a rather excellent game, so playing that next week.

Now, can't see a topic for "Warlock" or "Valley of the 4 winds" so not sure where to discuss them! :P

If by 'Warlock' you mean the The Warlock of FireTop Mountain board game we have the Fighting Fantasy and Lone Wolf Section for all FF related stuff. For other fantasy boardgames there's the Other Fantasy Games section. If a particular game gets discussed a lot it we may give it it's own section ...

BTW, does the Willow game have anything to do with the film of the same name?

Nope, I mean "Warlock", an old GW game which is about 6 battling warlocks. Essentially the precursor to Magic: The Gathering except you share one pool of cards.

The Willow game is exactly based on the film/book f the same name. 4 good guys v 2 bad guys (though 1 can be turned good). Will let you know how well it plays after Tuesday.
