Survivor vehicle/ potential terrain/ Biakal bait

I got myself a 1:34 scale Willys jeep today from "The Toy Shop" when I noticed the size was actually not too terrible for our beloved hobby.

And so, an hour or so into the building..

I am looking into 1/43 scale toy cars, also.

That look just about the right size! I normally find 1:34 scale to be just a bit too large (although this does mean they make for nice Ork Vehicles!) I might get one of these myself

the thing is, a willys jeep is in real life shockingly tiny. its amazing how many men they actually fitted on. if you notice the driver, he is MUCH smaller than a grown man would be in a real jeep.

that said it DOES look really good and fits into your minis well. i like it in a big way.

but the teeny-weeny size of the actual vehicle explains why the scale works

Yes, I was aware at the time that the actual vehicle is much too small to be good in a 40k scale. But, it fit a marine, so I decided the scale oddity was well worth it! :3

I am tempted to mount a large gun in the back e_e
