was in GW bath today and managed to get some 'exclusive' pictures of the store's half painted Stompa Gargant.
Owen, one of the staff informed me it was a pre-production model (although I'm not sure if he meant Pre-release, there dose appear to be some subtle differences between this one and the video on YouTube)
a few notes to make after seeing it up close - it is in fact not made of individual plates, but 4 large panels (front back and sides) with some smaller ones you can attach for verity - also a lot of the detailed parts are re-modeled from parts of existing kits, see if you can spot Warbuggy engine parts, cities of death building parts, Ork Boyz shooters and an Ork Dreadnought arm among other things. Over all the Stompa is pretty impressive, but a few bits look kinda lame – mainly the feet and the neck joint. As for the price? Well I don't I know yet, but I'm sure it will stay in line with the current extortionate prices we've come to expect from GW, so I'm thinking at least £60 upward

it's not the head I really dislike though, it's the bad moulding on feet and the neck joint
