I'm going through a board game revival with mates and I'm trying to collect all the old miniatures. Ebay loves me but my credit card doesn't.
Few questions: *In Space crusade the Ork commander (WD 134) appears to the same weapons dice for a plasma pistol as for the bolt pistol and power sword. Is this right? Seems odd to have them exactly the same. * Are there no rules for IG Orderlies? Seems strange not to have a mechanic similar to the Orks Painboyz. Thanks, Office |

First of all, welcome to the forum - please head on over to the Introductions Page and post a little about yourself
yes he does have the same dice, but they are distributed differently An Ork Nob armed with a Plasma Pistol rolls 2 White Dice in hand-to-hand combat and 2 Red Dice when shooting Where as an Ork Nob armed with Bolt Pistol and Power Sword rolls 2 Red Dice in hand-to-hand combat and 2 White Dice when shooting. With the 3rd option - Power Claw and Chain Sword, the Ork Nob rolls 2 White Dice and 2 Red Dice in hand-to-hand and doesn't get to shoot There seems to be quite bit of demand of Imperial Guard rules for Space Crusade, but there were no official rules published (there are however rules for IG in Advance Space Crusade, but that's a whole different game) I often get request to write rules for Imperial Guard squads, but I haven't yet found a way to make them balanced and playable

Thanks for the clarification Mortis.
I should have been more clear with the second question. I was referring to Advanced Space Crusade for IG. Another one for people's opinions - Is getting a copy of Eldar Attack worth it? I usually play 4 player games. Seems it's really focused on two player. |

We've got a thread full of PDFs and JPGs of the bits from Eldar Attack (and Mission Dreadnought), so you can judge for yourself. While most of the Missions given in the Eldar Attack book are 2 player affairs, the last mission uses a squad of Eldar in addtion to Space Marine Squads and it's not hard to do the same with the existing missions from the orginal mission book, Mission Dreadnough or any other source - either use the Eldar in addition to the Marines (allowing an extra player) or substitute them in the place of a Marine Squad. I recommend it if you or anyone you play with has some Eldar miniatures and would like to use them in Space Crusade, it's always good to have variety in a game. I've written additional rules for using squads of Sisters of Battle and Forge Fathers in the place of Marine Squads and my group love them

Looking at the Imperial Guard rules for Advanced Space Crusade (WD132) and they have Assault Guardsman with dual laspistols only at 1D. Is this likely to be a mistake, noting that Marines with dual boltpistols roll 2D? Seems to be little point as is over a normal Guardsman with a lasgun.
