The pain I went through accepting that title.
Here's stuff.
This guy is becoming "Generic cultist base" so far.
So the idea is that the warbands shaper was infected by a genestealer and it spread before it could be stopped.
Doubt or question or correct that
I don't give a fuck. It's fun to make the models, why the hell would you want specifics to get in the way when they look cool.
Etc etc.
So yea, I'm making some generic kroot/'stealer hybrid parts that I intend on casting and making more of with the idea of blending them amongst a squad of kroot warriors to make the hybrid look stretch further.
Shooting for 3-4 bodies, maybe a head or two (Otherwise it's easy to convert the kroot head as I did for the first models shown.)
and a set of arms.
The full-green guy will be used like a... Mannequin. That'll be like the generation before they start breeding purestrain.
Nice simple axe on the first guy, made using plastic tube with wire running down it, cut into segments that're rounded off to give the vaguest, crappiest expression of vertebrae.
Oh and I just got this chap together too.
Inspired by Imperial Assassins, I had spare parts and it looked cool as I put the parts together.
It's got some manner of rending claws with a venom supply, and a pretty well-supported spike gun/ needler rifle (The closest biological weaponry can come to it, of course. Which I suppose might well be more lethal anyway :P )
I've spent too long messing about with serious projects lately and I've needed a break to just do dumb stuff that I reckon only I'd fully enjoy. :P
