Some WIPs: large models

Here's 3 large models I'm working on at the moment for use in up coming adventures ...

^ My conversion of Ral Partha Europe's 'Blade Golem' (part of their Mage Knight Metal range) - I replaced the head with one from a new Citadel plastic Chaos Warrior and built it a new right forearm using an old Citadel Space Ork Nob's Power-fist and parts from a plastic Gasworks kit from a model Railway shop. I detailed the base with a piece of plastic 'York Stone Paving' and a panel from a plastic 'Vari-Girder Bridge' kit both made by a company called Wills (and again bought from a model Railway shop), I may also add a loose gear-wheel or 2 to the base

^ A Chronopia 'Drone' assembled completely stock but without it's Swamp Goblin rider. This model will be used as a 'Plague Fly' in my Nurgle forces

^ And currently being prepared for assembly - a Heresy 'Azaroth the Fallen One' Demon

Re: Some WIPs: large models

Love the Blade Golem, always thought that model has potential but never could quite work out what I'd make with it. I like what you've done with it though.

The drone looks pretty good, should make a good plague fly.

Azaroth the Fallen One is a sweet model, I can imagine you're going to do a good job on him, any idea what colour scheme you're going for on him yet?

The plan is for the colour scheme to be based on Tim Curry's demonic 'Lord of Darkness' character in the film Legend

^ I couldn't find a good picture so here several not-as-good-as-I'd-like pictures

Well the rest of the forum probably didn't, so it was worth asking I suppose

Well actually I need to sit down and start planning it all so I can figure out what pieces I will need
