This seems to be the consensus among many Warhammer enthusiasts.

With such unanimous longing for the freaky, imaginative and grotesque creations of olden days in the community it makes me wonder just how out of touch GW are with their customers these days.

Judging by recent events very out of touch ... GW only communicate with customers these days to tell them that new models are out soon and that we need to buy them.
They take very little (if any feed back) from us and never acknowledge that they might be doing something unpopular
