Ok, it was a bad pun.

Some of you may have seen these pics on Facebook on the warhammer group there, but here they are for this site.
I built and painted this for my mates lad, it was his birthday present.
His dad was going to do it but he was struck down with bowel cancer and wasn't well enough, so I got asked.
I really enjoyed it, the kit's a lot better than I expected.
I did add some large scale .50cal barrels to turn it to a Valkyrie gunship, which worked pretty well.
When it came to painting I went for a desert scheme, with the extra guns I decided to give it some A10 style nose art.
The resulting reaction when I delivered it was this "MIIIINT!!!!!!"
Apparently he was pleased

Looks good, really like what you did with the added gun barrels and the paint job is really great!

hmm must get on and finish my huey/valkyrie for my catachans.

It needed the extra guns, it looks a little underarmed without, I left the wing weapons off, they seemed a little comic for my taste.

Great job! love the extra detail.... did you free hand the lettering by the cockpit, or is that a decal?

More likely to fire rockets at warminster at the mo, cause a million pounds of improvements
