RUMOUR: Dark "something" ??

guess whoose back?

i know we are not a rumour site but seeing as we broke FINECAST months before anyone else (by we i mean ME) i thought i would share this.

buddy of mine visited a Nottingham based printers. he saw a pile of boxes for a staand alone game, much like Dreadfleet etc. limited edition, individual numbers (possible- 80%). he said what ever it was DEFFO had a FREE Dark Angels Librarian model. and he THINKS it was called Dark Future. it was deffo "Dark - something" and he was SURE it was dark future. but he only got a really quick glance of it.

i could MAYBE see the point of dropping a fancy free (lol free) DA figure, which would encourage all the Timmys to buy a stand alone game. I dont know. I don't know tech stuff.

but i KNOW this is from a veteran gamer who knows his onions and had the glimpsy-ist of glimpses and something in the works...

so when this comes through you may all suck my dick.

I have to be honest I would be very very surprised if it was "Dark Future" as we know it.

I don't understand the free Dark Angels librarian. Also "Dark Future" has no ties with any existing armies.

They may be giving it that name but I doubt we'll see any cool cars.

If it is Dark Future I can't see why it would come with a Spaze Mehrine - that would be like 6th edition 40k coming with a Frodo miniature

I suspect the name of the product might have been 'Dark Millennium' which I believe is a title that is being re-used for an as-yet unreleased computer game, that or we are looking at the new 6th edition 40k boxed game using the same title

no i fully agree. he said it was only sure of the Dark bit.

what about...

wait for it...

what if it IS Dark Millenium, a video game that actually has a free mini with it? to try and drag some crss-pollenation?

That would make sense in terms of it supposedly being limited edition - we could be looking at a limited special edition of the computer game with extra goodies packed in

things are becomming clearer and making sense...

the new 40k Boxed Set Named :" Dark Vengeance"

and it contains a Dark Angels character models.

i think we did indeed have something before everyone else... AGAIN.

it just wasnt what we thought it was.
