Question about trees:

Fenryz
Hey everyone - got a quick question to you terrainbuilders out there on how to make trees and stuff.
Im working on getting some terrain for outdoor encounters, mostly simple stuff like rocks, trees and shrubs. But trees are giving me a bit of a headache right now - I cant seem to find a good way to apply the "flock" to the trees...

Base is cork, trees are simple twigs of the right size, and the "flockbase" (lack of english word, sorry) is this small ball of steelbrush thingie you use in the kitchen. The flock is green stuff I ripped from a plastic imitation of grass, small pieces that doesnt weigh much.

Now, Ive tried different hairspray bottles, spraying the "flockbase" placed on the trees, but I cant get it to stick... It just falls off later.
Anyone got any idea on how to do this in a quick and easy fashion ?
(Sorry about the lack of pictures, I dont own a digital camera)

Lil update - well, stupid me. Spray once, put on flock, spray again and it seems to stick... Guess I inhaled too much of the spray ._.

You might want to look into using something more permanent like matt spray-varnish or fixer spray (used to 'fix' charcoal drawings) rather than hair spray.

For my own trees I use Woodland Scenic's Tree Armatures http://woodlandscenics.woodlandscenics.com/show/category/TreeArmaturesFoliages and few 'bottle brush' type railway set trees, also the new Citadel Woods are pretty good and not too bad value for a GW product either.
