Painting my Heroquest set

I've been working on painting all of my Heroquest figures:

I actually painted the Warrior in the background years ago, but the "Chaos Champion" is a new paint job.

Some skeletons.   In HQ, I use skeletal archers as having the same stats as a regular skeleton, but having a ranged attack.

Zombie and Chaos Sorceror.     I've been saying for ages that I would paint one of my Chaos Sorceror figures in Skeletor's colors.     I have since recently seen a picture of someone else having done it.  (Was that here?)    It looked good so, it got me off my butt and putting paint on the figure.    The Zombie turned out pretty good with Khemri Brown (GW foundation paint) as the base for the skin with some lighter hightlighting and then a crap load of washes of brown and green.

Re: Painting my Heroquest set

Hahaha, very cool! I've seen that other Skeletor as well. And here too. Gonna do mine exactly the same :P I loved Masters of the Universe as a kid. Might even paint the barbarian as He-Man.

Is that a fish on the chaos champion's head???

From what set are the skeleton archers?

The archers are from Reaper Miniatures.   They make some great fantasy miniatures that work really well for Heroquest.

The tassle on his head does look fish-like doesn't it?
