Painting Question

Now in theory this is a basic painting question, but since there isn't a forum for that (I don't think) so I'm putting it here.

I've just got hold of some Gutter Runners for my Skaven team, however they are already painted and one looks as though the paint was applied with a roller!  What's the best way to remove the original paint rather than just painting over the old paint and loosing detail?

If the miniatures you want to strip is metal get some Paint Brush Restorer (available for B&Q, Homebase ect) and put the minis in a glass jar with it, soak them for 4-5 days and then scub them down with a toothbrush to get the paint off

if the miniatures in question are plastic you can do the same using Dettol
(do not put plastic miniatures in the Paint Brush Restorer they will melt)

Dettol does work but it is slow, but im continuing to get my plastics done this way all the time. using and tooth brucs helps too.

Come to think of it, it might be worth writing a tutorial on how to strip unwanted paint off miniatures ...
