PROJECT: my new desk and workstation

my old arrangments were just not working out anymore, i didn't have enough room and it wasn't a positive enviroment to paint in... so, i save my pennies and when i decorated my room this happened...

the sign is wooden and from my girlfriend... its a bit of a private joke of ours but it was just such an amazing present i had to have it in the middle!

so anyway- here we are. it has been up and running for about three weeks, and so far it has proved an amazing place to work. i particularly like the chair- its a propper 70's office chair, all retro and super stylish... lots of black leather and wood panels! its second hand. the desk is from ikea, £125. thee light is awesome and from Argos, £20.

the white tile is luckily left over from the bathroom! many other things have been pilfered and scrounged from here and there. the box files hold sprues, each labeled and sorted into types. iv got shelves for WIPs and storage areas for important things like bitz and transfers.

That's an ace workstation.  I'd like somewhere like that where everything could sit out and I wouldn't have to put it away to use the dining table!!

See what you could have Mort, if you'd tidy your room!!!  :-)
