This walker has also been inducted into the 349th AF(R). It is armed with a multilaser and HK missile, a slightly unusual pattern as itis normally Walker 3 in a troop with this upgrade. It is a rare, sophisticated pattern of missile so has probably been fitted as a "favour" by maintenance personel. The armour is not encased meaning the driver is protected from small arms fire but can also simply stand on his seat to check the terrain ahead and around him. the front windows are also not pressurised, unlike other, enclosed Sentinels. The roof has a hinged mesh covered with the local flora. as most of the 349th AF(R) are commited to Snakefish North, a dry desert continent, there is not much of this to be had, however around wadis and other water sources small pockets of vegitation do grow and obviously this walker has been hidden in one of these areas recently
this is a real frankenstein model... the legs and lower half of cockpit are from the OLD style plastic Sentinel, the upper armour and glacis plate are from the NEW model, the leaves and thatch are from the OLD catachan sprue and the HK missile is from the rhino i believe.
this was a Christmas present about 20 months ago and i was worried it would never get finished. id sort of over sprayed it originally so it was a much brighter orange than the others. luckly iv managed to deaden it abit but its still not perfect.
the base is mostly just junk but a WW2 barrel and part of a scout bike can be seen by the smarter viewer
Re: PROJECT: Sentinel - lead walker, 4 Troop, 265 Infantry Support Regiment, seconded to 349th AF(R)
great model dude, I didn't know there was that much difference between the older and newer plastic Sentinel kits, nice work

the quality, fit, pose and options are a different fucking league to the old ones. the new ones are just mint in my opinion... and not terrible price either
This is the umpteenth great work.
I can see that every piece of your army is planned with intelligence and well arranged. My compliments!
I'd like to see the whole army in a single picture!
