"The new Cerberus tanks provide an additional fire support capabilty to Armoured Fist Platoons. The driver sits in the usual place for a Chimera chassis driver, with the hull gunner to his left who also serves as the radio operator.
unusually for a turreted tank, the commander sits behind the driver in the lower cuppola. This leaves him closer to the driver and radio operator, and leaves the turret (which is very cramped) for the main gunners. the gunner sits to the right of the turret, with the loader to the left. He also operates the co-axial Heavy Weapon.
Due to the extreme confines of the turret, deliberat to keep the cross section down to that of the Chimera, the upper cuppola can only be occupied while the top hatch is open. The Loader can however crouch up to see through its vision ports. A large ammo hopper on the back of the turret provides additional ammunition storage, freeing up some space internally. Large comm systems also sit outside the turret for the same reason.
to the right of the gunner is the turret traverse motor and cooling system as well as the turret fume venting extractor. the engine sits low down to the rear of the tank, creating a small deck that can be used to store extra supplies and spares."this is one of those projects i have had in my head, scratching like a beetle and wanting to get made. In the end it proved very expensive, as I had to buy a Predator kit as well as a chimera.
i KNEW the predator mount fitted just nice on the chimera, so all i had to do was build the back end, and make sure it didnt just look like a chimera with a predator turret.
once i get some Green Stuff, it will have a front ram spike.
