The 190th had been on Snakefish since day 1, but after a few months of being in MFS (Main Force, Snakefish) they were moved to the 348th Assault Force (Siege). The Regiment was quite small, based around only six Bombard heavy siege howitzers. "A" Coy was made up of A Battery and B Battery, three vehicles a piece, as well as 12 Trojans and two battery command vehicles as well as a HQ section. "B" Coy. was made up of the huge logistical efforts to provide ammunition to six guns that fired shells the size of a man. The Final "C" Coy was made up of a Platoon of infantry for defence, as well as mechanical and messing/medicae support.

On a visit to Thorforge, a replacment for Vehicle 5 (V) was intercepted by Van Xur, and it and its immediate support and crews were "appropriated" to the AF(R) for its ability to seriously flatten enemy positions.

as a model, i am actually very disspointed in it. It always looked so awesome on the website, but in the flesh it just seemed lazy and boring. for £57 it is a bit of a

Nice stuff - yea I think they could have done more with the model, I saw a very nice scratch built one in Golden Daemon in the late 90's - I'll see of I can find a picture

just as an aside, you might notice there is a reference to the SECOND AF on the continent, the 348th AF(S).

The 348th is a specialist siege division, used to break fortified positions without holding up the Main Line of Resistance.

there is also the 344th AF(A) which is an airmobile, division sized force.

these work hand in hand with the MFS (main forces: Snakefish) and essentially provide specialist combat expertise. the 349th go and find the enemy, the 348th  surround them, and the 344th attack large targets behind their lines, like airfields and large supply assets.
