Very nice!. Love the one in the bottom picture with the staff - looks very different to the rest. Is it a character piece with special stats?
Indeed. That is a Meargh, which are the only females in a Fimir tribe. She is the ultimate leader, matriarch, high priestess and last word of a tribe, and also a magic user and daemonologist.
It also happens to be an original metal GW Fimir figure. One of the oddities of the Fimir rules was that rank and file were on 25mm bases while all characters were on 40mm, although it was never actually stated that certain castes were physically bigger. (there was also something of a communication cock-up which meant all the metal figures got sculpted Ogre size)
First of all it really nice to see the Bog-Raiders next to some official Fimir minis for size comparison - looks like they match well with HQ Fimir as champions and fit in well with the Warhammer ones nicely too. I think I will be getting some Bog Raiders to use as champions for my own Fimir force - I will however be filing down and re-sculpting the 'mussel' area a little as Fimir are described as not having nostrils
Great paint jobs - the mixture of different skin tones you've used looks great, you've inspired me to widen the range of skin tones I'll be doing on my Fimir in future. Your weapon swaps on the HQ Fimir look great too - try giving a few larger shields, round and oval Celtic-style ones would look great
Just out of interest I've noticed one of your Fimir is holding a severed head that looks very much like one from the Mordheim 'Hairy Heads' Sprue, I also noticed a similar one on the promotional photos for the Bog Raiders - did this come with the kit?

News to me about the nostrils -would have sworn my Fimir noble has some?
They do fit in pretty well -it was only when I photographed the HQ and the Bog raider with similar poses together that I was surprised at the differences.
The head is from the White Wolves sprue. I though I had seen a bog raider gripping the head but couldn't find it -the one with the net does look like he has a head.
I quite like the brown ones, but due to the Devian Mud wash they are darker than might be ideal (does look like peat though). Might be an idea to try a ligher brown basecoat. I can list the colours I used for these if you are particularly interested in a particular shade.
Am I understanding correctly that some of these figures are being produced by some company? Where can I get them!? A little greenstuffing of the nostrils and they are good to go.

I thought fimir didn't have females, which was why they raped other races to produce offspring? Are the females in the tribe barren, or are there just not that many of them to carry on the line? Or are the males just thugs who happen to enjoy a bit of rape and pillage?

Well, not only are Female Fimir infertile, but they are also rare each Fimir stronghold is ruled over by a single female witch-queen called a Meargh. Very few females are ever born to the Fimir and they are often killed unless the tribe's Meargh has decided she is going to raise and train a successor
