Iv just finished reading the only in death by Dan Abnett. Dan after his tenth book in his Gaunts Gosts is still able to make up an interesting story and full of blood and guts. His other books like Double eagle and his inquistor series are dam good.
Onto the Horus Hersey books The abyiss is a great space battle with a good story line. I do like reading space Battles.
