Here's my Oni Warau (Laughing Demon), by Okko. He was great fun to paint though I didn't like his stoopid hair, so that got left off and I gave him a kinda reptilian, mottled skin effect instead. That's about it really, the rest speaks for itself! :P

Very,Very impressive-I always like to chose to paint an interesting figure because it makes the painting worthwhile.At first glance I thought the tones too muted,but on reflection it is just 'perfect'-Less is more.The base is fantastic-did you make the water or did it come like that?The blood is very good-especially what is dripping off the sword;again did you make that or did it come that way?I have book marked your website.............I have a few Japanese dvds,some with demons & that is a good representation.I tried making variations of Hannya the vengful & jealous woman turned demon in clay full size.

Umboman - Glad you like mate. Everything other than the Demon I made myself, including the blood drips/effects and the water/base. He was a very fun piece to do!

Thank your for bookmarking my website, and hopefully there will be something a bit more interesting up there soon. It's still very much under construction but I hope to have some tutorials and such, and more painted stuff up when it's done. I'm also about to release a range of scenic bases and accessories, and display plinths too, as well as my first resin mini soon. Busy times!:)
