Spurticus Rex –

This is the brand new Skytalon Valkerie.
It turns out its how the Elysian venator I built is delivered to the battlefield.
I intend to get one of these, but I'm planning on converting it to carry a weapon instead of a vehicle.
I'm an aircraft armourer by trade so my job gives me ideas on what to replace the Venator with.
Here are my options.

1. A weapons pallet, probably twin Vulkan mega bolter type cannons with an ammo tank between.

2. A munitions dispenser for delivering anti armour/personel bomblets or sub munitions.

3. An open bomb bay pallet with bombs.

4. a pair of rails to carry large SLAM (stand-off land attack missles) missiles like the Stormshadow carried by Tornados.

What do you guys think? are there any other options I've missed? Which one would you build?

All these ideas are pretty cool mate.
I did think of an idea of converting it to a sentinal drop ship.

I've never been a fan of the sentinal, it just looks far too toylike for my taste.
I had an interesting idea of doing it with the munitions dispenser firing, but it would be rather impractical.
How to do firing eflux would be difficult.
The easiest one would be the vulkan carrier or the SLAM carrier, I like the gun carrier.
I might up the guns to something bigger, single barreled cannons of some sort, or possibly an automatic recoiless cannon.

Either way, its a bit academic at the minute, I'm in the process of moving my workshop so it might take a couple of months to get round to this.

You could do a few differant pods and put magnets in them to change them over. A bomblets module would be cool, so would a minelaying pod (for rapid minefield creation). I love the idea of a vulkan mega bolter but it'd be a huge weight, maybe twin punisher cannons instead? (hmm heavy 20 and twin linked, that wouldn't be silly at all!)

The magnet idea is a good one i do it myself on my inquistor model. Mark from the old cyberdine used magnets on his tau force.
