Lizardman Ravager

A lizarman Ravager by Avatars of War.

Oddly enough I can't find this mini in their online stor, but I did find it in a regular gaming store.

I painted one blade bronze and the other to look like it's made from stone. And bracelets painted to look like stone as well, to give a feeling of a very primitive culture.

Re: Lizardman Ravager

Cool, haven't seen many Avatars of War around here, I seem to remember them being rather expensive for what they are - but this one looks rather nice.

The Bronze Sword and Stone Cleaver make me think that they'd do different types of damage to certain creatures in-game but I can't think of anything that would be particularly vulnerable to either stone or bronze weapons - perhaps something magical or maybe a hero/villain that is prophesied 'cannot be slain by any weapon forged' or such like making a monster armed with a Stone Cleaver a problem for them.

With this mini and the snake man I'm thinking you might be playing some games in a jungle setting?

Re: Lizardman Ravager

As it turns out, the mini is a "Mauler" not a "Ravager".
No wonder I couldn't find it. Or in the words of H. Simpson Esq. "Doh!"

To answer your question about jungle setting, me and my friends are planning on trying out the Song of Blades and Heroes game rules.

It's very generic, very user friendly and very simple and pretty much any setting will be likely in the planned campaign.
