Kurtis van Crag, Warrior Priest of Sigmar

This is Kurtis, a Priest of Sigmar in Leather Armour armed with a 2 handed War-hammer, who likes his ale and has a habit of muttering things under his breath. The miniature was scratch-built entirely from plastic parts to represent a character Axl came up with for WFRP, although the mini will probably end up being used in our long running home-brew dungeon campaign. I seem to have been doing a lot of minis for other people recently.

Kurtis

The parts for the miniature come from quite a huge variety of sources; the head and the bottom of the robes come from the Empire Flagellants sprue as dose the book on his belt (which you can just about see in the photo), the main body is that of a Bretonnian Man-at-Arms trimmed a little to accommodate the other parts, the arms are that of a Chaos Warrior, the ornate hammer is a weapon from the DarkWorld game and the Stein comes from an old Dwarf kit, also their might be a few Skaven bits in there too!

Your scratching is on a par with your painting...................................any chance you could give some tips on custom making figures?Being retired for 12 years now,I am hungry to learn new skills & spread my wings from kits. It's more fun & challenging, than off the peg.Nice concept figure.
