im thinking about making a medicae chimera. anyone got any ideas?

Here's a vague half formed idea for an Imperial Guard truck conversion that could work

Most modern ambulance tanks are only different internally:

For an Imperial Guard version I'd probably go with making it look something like the forgeworld trojan at the front but with the boxy superstructure extending all the way to the back. The have lighter double doors on the rear rather than the big heavy assault ramp of the Chimera.

The pic above is of an old 432. The army use warriors  and samiaritans these days.

I like the idea of having an ambulance, crewed with combat medics. You would have one amb per squadron of tanks.

well, IF i get one, it will HAVE to be pretty much chimera shaped so i can still use it as such. i will consider this at length

Depends how far you take 'counts as' surely if a vehicle is of a comparable size and has the same weapons it can be fielded as such

i have found this guy to be a bit of an inspiration, but i am leaning towards a sort of "chimera with specialist stowage and decals" idea

i was thinking on painting these side sections white/off white, and as a test i did it on photoshop and it looks awesome!

i was thinking as a medical symbol i would use the tactical squad "X" but rotate it to be a bit like a cross.

i also thought about replacing the multilaser with a spotlight, so i can still use it as a chimera but it looks less "front line".

i WAS thinking of using a trojan, but the lack of rear door does make it poor for use as an ambulance. i will think on this some more

EDIT: just for info im not going to CONVERT this chimera, i just used it as a tester
