Original posted a few years back (pre-tLatD) on my now neglected DeviantArt profile, here's some old-ish pictures of my Horrors of Tzeentch

My Horrors of Tzeentch. These guys are in fact the first Blue Horrors released by GW along side the 'Realm of Chaos – The Lost & The Damned' book circa 1989.

In the 1991 Citadel Catalog (section 2) they were even named as follows: 1-Madgobbler, 2-Fluxreaper, 3-Blastdrooler, 4-Wailspasm, 5-Glopslobber.

Since under the current rules there is no distinction between Pink and Blue Horrors I painted my horrors to look like they are constantly changing colour between by blending blues through to purples highlighted up to pink and light-blue - You can see this transition more clearly by looking at the back of my horror (6). Warts and knobbly bits were given more extreme highlights to make them stand out (7). Teeth, claws and horns where painted using my usual bone techniques and the eyes where painted Badmoon Yellow and Sunburst Yellow and given a thinned Orange Glaze. Madgobbler's tongue was Warlock Purple highlighted up to Tentacle Pink with spots added using Magenta Ink. In future I hope to have the Pink Horrors painted up in the same colour scheme

Yea I checked over the rules for Horrors in Quest, they were correct - you were just very jammy with those dice rolls

That's why they're not strangers to me!
I think it's unnecessary say I like them (and the way you painted them) and I dislike the new GW Horrors.

+ Other planes lie beyond the reach Of normal sense and common roads But they are no less real Than what we see or touch or feel. +
