[Hopeful WIP] Compile House Rules Project

Captain Hobokus
Now I've been thinking of this idea for quite some time: gather together all the house rules here and "publish" them on this forum as a pdf, updating them on an infrequent basis. Well, that's if everyone wants them. Gathering them together for an ease-of-use reference is my main objective here.

What I was wondering was if YOU guys felt comfortable if I went and (re)-uploaded a compiled version of the house rules found within this portion of the thread? If there's very little response or a lot of objection I won't go ahead with it, but if there's some approval...and I will respect those who don't want their "stuff" "published" in this way.
I wasn't going to just do it and throw it on here without asking for permission first...

Ok, I was going to have the articles within the compiled document in a way sort of like this:

Title of Post [at the moment I'm just using the post's title]
Credit to Original "Author"
Compiler's Note - A little note from me with my own thoughts
[which I probably will remove in a later version or change when I playtest rules]

And after this, the whole bulk of the rulings.

What do you guys think? I've got plenty of time to do this and I don't mind.

I have no problem with this - my only worry about putting everyone's house-rules together in one place is the inevitable  inconsistency and incompatibility of different people's rules

Well its not so much a rulebook per se; the equivalent I'm suggesting is say one of the "Companion" books for old school rolemaster and/or 3.5 DnD - a collection of rules that you can slot in or out. At least that's the sort of pdf I'm leaning towards.
And of course the rules are going to be inconsistent and incompatible in certain areas - they're house rules after all!

I don't have any problem with this.

Might I suggest something like a Google Doc? You could make it a public document with read access to all, and write access to you, just means when you make changes you don't have to convert to PDF and re-upload. Users can view the most current document online and they can download it as a PDF if they want to.

This post was updated on .
That's actually a good idea. I'm not that learned with the internet so when it come's to those types of online-resource-hosting websites and such it's all new to me.

EDIT: So instead of making a new post here's an edit of this one. I have uploaded a major draft - Beta 1 - of the compilation, using Google Docs as the host site. I have set it to public view only, so no login required, but I may change it to sign-in and the ability to comment. From now on the Official The Lost and The Damned House Rules Compilation Project has begun!
Oh - and I only went and did the "first page" of the actual thread and will update it when I can. Plus this thread can now be used for corrections/etc. I might chose to edit the first post from now on too.
