Hi!
I found a link to this site from Titannica, the Fighting Fantasy wiki.
(
http://fightingfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Fighting_Fantasy_on_the_Web - link 53).
I am a long time gamebook enthusiast and former Magic the Gathering player. I also have some Dungeons and Dragons sourcebooks and online resources, but I use them mostly for ideas as I have never found a group to play with.
I have written a few gamebooks, mostly Fighting Fantasy. They can be found at the Yahoo gamebooks group (
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/gamebooks/messages?o=1) and the Chronicles of Arborell webiste (
http://www.arborell.com/gamebook_archive.html). I am also writing a blog about gamebooks.
http://virtualfantasies.blogspot.com/I am running an FF RPG and taking part in Gamekeeper's RPG on facebook. I have a dayjob, but spend as much free time as I can either writing gamebooks or writing about gamebooks.
I would love to hear about more obscure gamebooks - I have only read a few Choose your Own Adventure books and I have not yet read any Way of the Tiger series.
I always like to chat about the better known books as well.
Now that all the Lone Wolf books are free online, I'd like to play through them all. That would be nice.
Look forward to being part of the forum guys!
