Hello everyone.
I'm known as HeroQuestFrance for more than a decade on the web. I work for the french ministery of the interior but also as an official translator for several european and american companies. I live in the extreme south of France close to the spanish frontier. (close to Perpignan in a tiny town) My main passion is playing dungeon crawl (space and fantasy universes) boardgames but also survival horror games. I've started with HeroQuest & Space Crusade in 1989/90 and I never stopped playing this kind of games. A quick overview of my collection here : Glad to be there.

Welcome aboard
Good collection, judging from your icon picture I think I've seen images of you playing HeroQuest on Dwaren Forge tiles before - I hope you have some more to post here some time and you'll enjoy the rest of the site

Thank you very much for your message !
I have a huge collection of DF (in fact all sets (except the beta sci fi line) in several copies. Of course I'll post more videos & pics if you want ^^ Rgds Richard Date: Mon, 23 Jun 2014 02:44:33 -0700 From: [hidden email] To: [hidden email] Subject: Re: Hello from France Welcome aboard Good collection, judging from your icon picture I think I've seen images of you playing HeroQuest on Dwaren Forge tiles before - I hope you have some more to post here some time and you'll enjoy the rest of the site

So much good stuff.
I'm always on the look out for new dungeon crawly games - is there anything in today's generation of games that you could recommend? I'm a big Fan of Warhammer Quest :) |
Hello ! Depending on what you are expecting for a dungeon crawl : Sci-fi : Others If you do not undertsand french, you can translate the pages with google or check the name of the game and search for it on gameboardgeek. There are so many games, which style are you looking for ? Excellent lists. Thanks.
I love random tiles in games - I especially like Warhammer Quest (and own AHQ) but many of the modern games seem very different. I bought myself D&D Wrath of Ashardalon, but I haven't played it yet. Sometimes I've seen over priced copies of Descent, and haven't been sure about it - looks pretty though. I bought Dungeon Run - which is very strange and the combat in the new edition of Dungeon Quest makes no sense to me either! Super Dungeon Explore seemed to come out and went away without me ever seeing a copy, anywhere. Scifi - Doom seems to be very out of print now. I have an older edition of Space Hulk, but think I prefer exploring dungeons. Maybe I'm too "old school". ;) |
