Hi all from a previous lurker

I've spent some time deciding whether or not to get back into gaming - I dropped out of the hobby a long time ago after a career change meant I don't have the same social hours as "normal" folk. The interest has always been there though, and after all the inspiration on this forum the desire to play has been rekindled enough for me to have a shot at going solo, with the hope of maybe the odd game or two at a local club (and maybe I can persuade my better half to give it a try too)

Just started getting figures, terrain etc for some fantasy battles and dungeon crawling. Being on a much tighter budget than the last time I was into the hobby is making this a challenge, so many thanks for the hints & tips you guys have posted

I just hope I can contribute enough to pay you all back

The good news is that the stuff I've blagged on eBay (bought with the proceeds from selling off my WH40K Orks) has now started to arrive in the post - I can get stuck in and will hopefully have progress to post soon
