So, I have been wondering how to get some decent terrain for our playtests and (hopefully) then have a collection for when I can start a campaign.
I gathered the goods and started tonight at 1am..
3 and a half hours laters;
I am making a base for it out of card, and when I've PVA'd the cardboard on this thing (watered down and done in patches.. I don't want it all melting away) I will get some filler or somesuch and mount the building down.
First, I'll be filling out the inner walls. They look a bit shitty right now on account of having not layered the same card pattern within. I'll go for some kind of tissue/pva mix and make it look like someone's used mud or plaster to patch it all up.
Then I'll do a bit of interior decorating with bits I found that resemble a fridge and various bits and bobs.
There's room inside for about7, maybe 8 models on 25mm bases, so it'd be a fun place to bait a few raiders and pummel them as a team.
