FFG X-wing repaint.

This looks really good, but I think for those of us less than familiar with the X-wing game we need a picture of the original piece reference, in order to judge with true impunity. ;)

Good point. When I get the next one for repainting I will take a side by side picture.

Finally gone and got some more of these so I can do a side by side.


My version is on the left and the original pre-paint is on the right. Biggest difference is on the wings where I removed the square panels (which don't exist on any of the studio models as far as I can see) and moved the squadron insignia to the right place. The pre-paint also has a bit too green a hue to my eyes.

They're pretty tiny models for what you pay. You do get quite a lot of card counters ect with each of them and stat cards and suchlike but those are only really useful if you're playing their game.
