Here's my latest acquisition:

Daleks!

28/30mm(ish) Daleks!

^Space Crusade Space Marine for scale

I have no idea what these are from, I picked up 5 of them (4 intact and 1 with a panel missing) from a charity shop. Yes they are the 2010 new-style 'iDaleks' and I would have preferred the classic style ones (I actually have 1 of the old Citadel plastic Daleks kicking around) but none the less Dalek miniatures = Awesome, I'm going to enjoy painting these

Now to find a game I can field a squad of them in ...

I'm pretty sure these were given away with the Dr Who magazine at some point. I keep seeing them on forums and such but annoyingly missed them when they actually were given out. Good job on finding them.

Argh! ah well ... like I said I wasn't really aware of where these came from, I'll have to keep a look out for future issues and see if they do any others, from what I saw on the FoD pages they did other monsters too

Turns out it was only last weeks issue of 'Doctor Who Adventures' (203) that they came in, so went down to the local corner-shop to see if they had any left, they didn't

but they I did get this weeks issue which has new style Cybermen and Sontarans free with it, rather disappointingly they are rather shitty and made of very soft rubbery plastic.

I was going suggest that they might be from an old board game.

Surely daleks are the sorts of figures you could make a latex mould for? - You'd have to make the plunger, gun and eye stalk separately though.

There's almost certainly some cardboard figures out there ... not that I've become brain washed into everything being printable these days. ;)

++UPDATE++

Thanks to Metropolis, I now have 17 more iDaleks in various colours

This new batch of Daleks are extremely similar -but not identical- to the first 5 I got hold of ... the details on this lot are a lot sharper and they are slightly (and I mean like 0.5mm) shorter. there are also some minor differences in the length of the 'plunger' arm and the width of the gun

so now I have a small army to paint ... and still no game to use them in

Just paint the guns, or not at all. :) They is lovely and brightly coloured. Nice bulk buy!

Damn! I really need to hunt some of those down! Need to start on my own Kaled swarm!

Well if I keep up my rules writing at the same pace I'll have my Weird War II rules done about the same time as you get these done........So ultimate show down of Daleks vs Nazis occurring some time 2020.

Working on some Mordheim/Quest figures at the moment, but hope to get onto the Daleks soon, they are going to fun to paint

It'd be damn near impossible for humans with shitty guns to deal with Daleks.
Zombies however would surround and grope until they found a way in!

Nah zombies would stand even less chance against full power Daleks, Dalekanium is pretty much impenetrable and then shields on top of that, oh and being able to heat and electrify their outer shells.
