Welcome back!

Also, I now want to merge Warhammer and Heroquest! I am more into that then the talisman idea.
Let me know if I should put up those ideas.
I tried to make some "dungeon game" rules using the Warhammer FB stats and the spells & magic objects cards of the expnsion set "Magic" from the 5th edition. But this combination doesn't work fine, because the nature of objects and spells, mainly oriented on big battles.
A good combination between a mass wargame and a dungeon game could be a skirmish game like Warhammer Skirmish (in the WFB 6th edition handbook), Mordheim or MortiS Quest Skirmish.
You may could be interested in Warhammer Quest too, if you don't know it, I suggest you to immediately google it.

There's so many elements of all of those games which would merge well.

I love some of the event cards in Talisman - I'd like to see see a lot more non-combat encounters, like "Pestilence" and "Taxation" in Talisman in games like HQ and WHQ  -
Perhaps dungeon crawlers need random pedlars who'll buy items (even a mini-market), mysterious whirlwinds that whip away gold and items, transporters, board "resets" - rooms become mixed up, sudden appearances of deities who tax the the players or send them on subquests.

Oops I forgot about this thread: http://the-lost-and-the-damned.664610.n2.nabble.com/Event-deck-for-HeroQuest-td4840265.html
(I seem to always say the same stuff) - check out the HQ Event Cards. ;)

Glad to see you back!
